Hello,

I'm planning to build a gaming pc and I was thinking of the following parts:

CPU: AMD FX-6350 Black Edition, 6-core 3,9 GHz OR AMD FX-8320, 8-core, 3,5 GHz (which one should I choose?) Both have a CPU cooler included. Should I buy another cooler and not use the included or is it good enough? I'm not planning to overclock the CPU.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP CML8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB @1600MHz, DDR3
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870, 2GB, 1,05 GHz, GDDR5
Motherboard: ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0
Power Supply: OCZ CoreCStream 500W
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ, 1TB, 7200RPM, 3,5"
SSD: Sandisk ReadyCache 32GB
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS90, DVD reader & burner, read 16x, burn 24x
Network card: TP-Link TL-WN751ND
Case: Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced (USB 3.0 version) with 3 fans

What do you think about it? Do you have suggestions for a better assemblance? If I haven't provided enough information, please ask me.

Thanks!

Here are a few answers/suggestions:

CPU - refer to these for which is better-

http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/306/AMD_FX-Series_FX-6...

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/AMD-FX-8320-vs-AMD-FX-6350

if you are not going to be overclocking the cpu, the stock cooler should work fine.

Power Supply- I would go for a better (higher quality) PSU from a reputable manufacturer such as Seasonic, XFX, Corsair (except the CX series) or Antec.

SSD- 32GB? really?

Thanks for the quick answer. I'll look for a better Power Supply, compare those CPU's and choose a bigger SSD (what do you advise me? 60GB?)

8320 is the better performing one but id instead pick a FX 6300 for a better performing card. like HD 7950. 32GB SSD isn't actually worth the extra 50-60$ so i think you should skip it for now, and instead use the money to get a 8320 or R9-280X.

PSU isnt actually good. id rather get a Antec VP550 PSu, its much better than that.OCZ is a good brand but that PSu in particular isnt good. or XFX 550pro PSU.

SSD capacity will depend on how much you are wanting to put on it.

I searched a bit for a Power Supply and found this one:

Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 550W.

Is this one better?

eh i dont really trust CM PSU's, id rather go with XFX pro 550W.
according to this CM silent pro gold is a tier 3 PSU while XFX pro(core) is a tier 2 one.

but if you cant afford it i guess CM one should do it.

I have a coolermaster 600W PSU.. have had it for roughly a year.. and it has done just fine.. they are (arguably) the best option for "cheap" PSU.. I do intend on getting something bigger and better eventually.. probably a corsair PSU.. but for now.. the CM 600W is just peachy
