Sound Card: Asus xonar dgx
Receiver: rca rt 2770
System specs:
Os: Windows 8.1
CPU: Pentium g620
Motherboard: Biostar H61MLC
Ram: 16gb
GPU: gtx 650
Here is what i have done so far:
I have checked to make sure that spidif output is set to the default device. The format that is encoded is Dolby digital as that's what my receiver decodes. I have downloaded the latest driver from the Asus website. I have checked the cable and there is a bright red light coming from it, and it works with my pvr to receiver.
Is there anything i am missing? Do i need a third party software for this to work?
