My brother removed the hard drive from his HP-DV4 laptop. He needed to hook it up to my PC to get a bunch of data transferred between his laptop HDD, and his external drive; all went well. (Music, videos, whatever. The OS was untouched.)
Laptop was 100% working before he removed it, got all the data switched, then put it back. When he put it back in, he started to get 4 blinks through his Wi-Fi light on the keyboard, meaning it is a graphics problem, we think. He is getting no video, audio, nothing. Just a black screen (He is looking into it, that is what he is saying the 4 blinks are)
Has anyone got a fix for this? Any help is greatly appreciated!
EDIT: FIXED! To anyone having the same problem, removing ONE stick of RAM somehow fixes the problem!
