I have a D-Link Modem and a wireless Asus RT-N13u b1 router. I am using it from 1 month now no issues but now my dad wants the router to be used in is office where he wants to connect 4 comps with the lan port. My router is on a top shelf so i never see it but when i climbed to take it down i saw that the ethernet cable form my modem was connected to the routers LAN port and not WAN port?
I tried putting it in the WAN port [i got an ip in the 192.168.x.x range] but then i had no access to the internet but can access the GUI's of my modem and router! My dad needs to use all the 4 ports but he cant because all the LAN ports can only transmit the net? I am using DD-WRT on router. Is this a double NAT issue?
Any solutions?
