Wasn't sure which subforum this should go in, apologies if it's the wrong one!
Installed a new motherboard ( Intel desktop board DX38BT(B) ); my old RAM was incompatible, so I replaced that with a Patriot Viper 4GB DDR3 1600MHz.
Now whenever I try to boot up, I get this:
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key
Which is odd, because if I actually unhook my hard drives, the message looks like this:
A bootable device has not been detected.
Please refer to the Product Guide at http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/
(I checked out the support site, it wasn't much help)
My hard drives are as follows:
WD Caviar Black 500GB
WD Caviar SE 250GB
WD Caviar SE 250GB
My OS is Vista. I wasn't sure what information to provide, hope that's enough. I can certainly provide more if necessary.
