Hi there.

Ive recently bought an AMD Radeon HD 6670 GDDR5 and when i play BF3 my FPS will be around the 30-45 and then will drop to around 10-15fps when im in the middle of no where with no explosions etc going on, i know its not the best GPU out there but shouldnt i be getting more fps or?

Heres the screenshot i took of my CPU & GPU load's when i had BF3 running

So my question is, is my CPU getting bottleneck and if so how much performance increase would i get if i got an AMD FX 6300 Six-core cpu? would that not bottleneck my gpu? sugestions will be great

My system specs are:
amd athlon ii x2 250 3.0 ghz
4gb ddr3
asus m5a78l-m lx3
asus amd radeon hd 6670 gddr5
400w power supply

BF3 and BF4 are both a lot harder on the CPU in multiplayer than they are in singleplayer.
What does the game play like in single player?
The AMD 6300 is a great value CPU:) It's probably the best CPU at the moment in terms of price/performance ratio.
Your motherboard will accept the AMD 6300 CPU but you might need to do a bios update.
I'm not quite sure how much of a performance gain you will get though as your graphics card isn't the fastest as you said. Also you might want to think about upgrading your ram to 8gb at some point.

The single player seems to run alot smoother but the fps still drops to 10-15 for around 4 seconds then goes back to a playable frame rate...multiplayer has become unplayable with stuttering etc its that bad but when i first got the game a couple of days ago it seemed to play decent but now its gone down hill for some reason, yeah ill have to get an extra 4gb ram soon and the amd fx 6300 cpu and hopefully it sorts the problem out
