Hello, i have 3 laptops that need to connect each other. Two laptop (host) are using ubuntu 13.04 and one (in the middle as pc router) is using windows 7. The pc router laptop has 2 lan cards, one is internal lan card and another ones is using usb lan. So, i have configured both host network and set ip address on each lan card (in pc router), but when i try to ping to another host it said "destination host unreachable". I also tried bridge connection in win7, but still they can't connected...
What's should i do to solve this?

You can partially do it with ICS but it is not really designed to be a router it is designed to share the connection.

You would have to find a third party software to do this. I never bothered a cheap router running dd-wrt will do lots more and does not waste a computer to do this function.

thanks reedo_43, i'll try that one.
previously, i just think that the problem is routing configuration in the pc router, is this possible?

I am currently using win7 for the pc router. Is there anyway to make the traffic can pass between this two lan cards? I tried using "router add -p" command in cmd, but still no progress at all...
