From what I have read, Seagate is much less reliable than WD.
Therefore, I am looking for a 1TB storage solution to complement my 120gb SSD on which I run my OS and primary programs.
Is there a considerable difference in performance while running large GB games (15+GB) and other programs?
Also, is the sound difference between the two noticeable? I prefer quiet machines, and keep my case fans on quietest unless running very resource-hungry games/programs, so with a nearly silent system, will I notice the noise of the WD Black?
If the sound is noticeable, is it worth the increased performance?
