I am experiencing sluggish wifi performance with my airport extreme, working in conjunction with a Time Warner Cable modem. There is a "default" network (where does that come from?) that works very fast. I have reset the Extreme Network, but the performance has not improved. Any thoughts?

Poor performance from Airport Extreme with Time Warner Modem

Look thru your router and disable Quality of Service (or similar) I'm not sure what its called in the Airport but its not the only router that has 'reduced performance' with Apple products. Turning off these kinds of settings/services usually resolves it.
