Basically i want to buy a sata 3 SSD and while i know it is perfectly compatible with the sata 2 ports on my mother board, id like to somehow install a sata 3 port to take advantage of all the speed the SSD offers. possible to install some type of sata 3 pci connection like you can usb 3.0? what would be the cheapest and best way to do this?

Install a PCI or PCIe (depending on your board) SATA 3.0 internal adapter that supports a boot drive. You will need to do a clean OS install and have the SATA card drivers available for the F6 driver point during the Windows install.

I would recommend as a first choice just using one of the native SATA 2 connectors though -- the performance will be indistinguishable in daily use.
