i just built my gaming rig and I was thinking about dual monitors, I have a spare 18.5 kicking around and I have the desk space. I am now running a 1920x1080 24" and my 18.5 is 1366x768, I only reason I would use 2 screens is so I can gaming on the big screen and I can have Facebook or something open on the 18.5", I am not sure how this would work though and if it would slow down my graphics performance. I have 16GB RAM, i7 4770 and GTX 760. Also does it matter what side I put the monitor on? (Left or right)

Thanks guys!

Set the game to use your best monitor and set the game for windowed operation. I always do something similar and have MSI Afterburner & TeamSpeak running on my second monitor with no noticeable degradation of performance.

You will not see any noticeable impact on performance running 2 monitors unless both are being used for gaming. It makes no difference which side you put the monitor as you can select the primary device in windows or Nvidia control panel.
