I want to get a new computer for my 13-yearold son. He plays and makes videos about minecraft and is also playing around with short films and music/video editing. We are a "Mac family" (I work in the design field) but he asserts that PCs are better for his purposes. I have seen prices ranging from $400-2500 and honestly $700 is more like our budget, (which would have to include a monitor) but I don't want to waste $700 getting him something that just won't work.
