No its not "good" for gaming. It will play those games on medium or low settings but it is about as low end as you can go. If you have a small monitor with a low resolution like 1680 x 1050 then it could be OK. In BF3 on high settings at 1680 x 1050 you will get around 25 FPS or less in multiplayer.
