possible damaged CPU

my pc boots up but either doesnt detect the RAM or graphics card. An dont get a picture on the screen. thought it was a motherboard problem so replaced it with a new one i have tested the graphics card an ram on another system an they work fine. the only thing can possibly think of is it is the CPU an it isnt working properly an not detecting the hardware. i currently am running Crosshair V Formula Z with AMD 990FX chipset, Amd FX-8. 9590, Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card, Corsair AX1200i Digital ATX '80 Plus Platinum' Modular Power Supply, 1 128GB SSD and 2x 2TB HDD. Please help as having my system down is making me lose the will to live.

the processor is cooled by a sealed water cooling unit an everything else is fine as said above checked them on another system.

not sure as i dont even get a picture on the screen when it boots up. an i had this M-board before with this processor and it worked straight out the box last time

It could be that the BIOS is outdated. Do you have any other AM3+ processors lying around? :/

yeah i tried a old 6 core AM3+ but that didnt work either got the same problem but the have both been out and i was handling them without a static earthing band. is it possible i have damaged them both dude to static build up

yeah..
a crosshair absolutely will handle that processor..

a bios update, that's what you really need to run that processor..

how can i update the bios when i cant get it to boot up properly because it isnt detecting the ram.

you can use asus bios live utility update..

so get the bios update and use a usb stick to flash the bios onto the m-board, would this even work as i cant even get it to boot up in the first place
