Open the command prompt and ping the gateway router address, then try a ping to www.microsoft.com or another major site.
Check your computer adapter to insure that it is obtaining an automatic IP and DNS address.
Also, open an elevated command prompt (right click run as admin) and then run the following command and post the information from the text file created on your c drive root: ipconfig /all>c:\ipconfig.txt
