So I realize that Guild Wars 2 is a very CPU heavy game. What I don't understand is why my CPU usage goes from ~60% - ~95% on max graphics. These numbers just seem VERY high to me. I am running the stock clock with the turbo boost on. It ran the same when it was at 4.4GHz aswell, I thought maybe the overclock was messing something up. Most likely it was, I was using Asrock Extreme 6 built in Overclocker because I was gonna set a custom clock soon. I had been getting BSOD (Three times in a month so not too bad) so I put it back to stock, no more BSOD so far(Been one week). When doing events with probably 50 people and the world boss, I see 20FPS on max graphics, with and average of 90% usage. My ram usage also gets to like 6.5GB (Probably 1GB from chrome). This number also seems really high to me.

I ran a virus scan, and malware scan last night and cleaned got rid of those, but these pictures were taken prior to this. As soon as a I publish this thread I am going to go make sure all my drivers and my BIOS is up to date.

When I used the built-in overclocker in my AsRock Extreme6 (just for kicks), I definitely realized that it sucked. I think I got a blue-sceen at the 4.2ghz setting. Use this guide, specifically for AsRock Mobo's: http://www.overclock.net/t/1198504/complete-overclocking-guide-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-asrock-edition.

GW2 is heavily cpu-dependent, and even with my 4.5ghz OC, I still get into the 20's in massive wvw battles/world events at max settings (no supersampling). I use a GTX 670 as well.

What do you get for CPU Usage though if you just stand in the middle of Lions Arch?
