More RAM or faster RAM?

I'm currently building a new gaming computer to play games like BF4 and Skyrim on ultra settings. I'd like to know whether I should invest in lower capacity, higher speed (8GB DDR3 2133) or more capacity, slower speed (12GB DDR3 1333).

How much RAM should I get to play games like these, and ESO?

Solution
Best bet is at least 8GB, BF4 recommends 8GB and people have reported using even more - future games are not likely to DECREASE DRAM needs, and 1600/9 is entry level, I'd recommend starting looking at 1866/9 in a 2x4GB set

In all honesty to play those games 4 GB RAM at 1333 is enough 99% of the time. The performance in games is normally dependent on GPU and CPU. I am always happy to run standard 1333 MHZ RAM at stock speeds and I have never noticed any loss of performance which is backed up by my assessment of performance monitor.

probably not in gaming, until games need > 8GB, which they don't currently. 1600 is the sweat spot for speed, but doubt you'll notice a difference with 1333.
