Does This Really Need That Much Power?

Do you think this is a misprint or some sort of oversight? I want to buy it but it says the minimum power is 750w. For some reason that sounds extremely high to me; are they wrong?

The minimum power suggestion is for the system as a whole, not for the card by itself. A 280x has a power draw of about 250W by itself, the recommendations always account for the crappier power supplies out there, and the fact that the system driving it likely needs ~200W, and then they round up to the next convenient number and thats how they got 750W for it.
