I have a acer the hard drive is telling me that it is going to go out I want my data sims downlodes music and pics how do I do

I have a acer and the hard drive is getting ready to go out i want to wirelessly move file for one (windows7) to my hp windows 8 is this possible and how do I do it? I really want to save my pics the most years of family pics and some for my art show really dont want to mess it up!

Don't move it directly from PC to PC, from the sound of things you don't have any backups. Get an external drive, copy the files from the bad system to the new one. Then copy all of your files from the new system to the external drive and keep the external drive as a backup. You will need to keep up with updating the drives with your files as you add and change them.

Or you could try to Ghost your entire drive to a lager drive... there are some free version of ghost you can try. Ghost copies the entire hard drive image from one drive to the other.. keeping all of your info drivers and even the os intact. you have to go from same to same or bigger drive. will not work going from large to smaller drive
