So I've recently made a new computer, updated drivers for my motherboard (Gigabyte H37-D3H) from their website, and when I try to connect to the internet wired, I get the following error: "local area connection doesn't have a valid ip configuration wired connection no router". I've tried all the fixes from similar threads, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Here's my info from running ipconfig:

DHCP on the router doesn't seem to be working. To make things easier to trouble shoot, disable IPv6, and stick with IPv4.
Check the cable you are using really is working. I assume you cant ping, or talk to the router from your computer?

You dont state if it was working before the driver update.

Sorry, I'm new to a lot of this stuff, my 1st build. Anyhow, no, internet was not working before update. I assumed my cord wasn't the issue, since I've been using it w/ my laptop, but now it's not working w/ that either. (It was working, internet and all on my new comp, no more than a few days ago, but I had to do a clean install due to some hardrive/ram issues). So I will try replacing the cord or contacting my apartment support, as the issue seems to be w/ my cord or data port in my room.

Well, I tried different cords and different wall sockets, but it keeps giving me the same error (I'm getting the same errors on my laptop, which I've not had network issues w/ for 4+ yrs). So I'm thinking it has something to do w/ my apartment's internet provider. I'll have my room mates check if their computers can connect. If they can, then I know it's an issue w/ my stuff. Otherwise, hopefully our internet provider can get things going again. Thanks for the quick responses and help.
