Power issues after new build.

I've managed to get a new system working for a couple days, but within a week I had a problem where the system would randomly power off. Didn't consider it until now, the system is no longer powering on. The fans spin only for a moment and no lights come on. Had tried from different walls that I knew worked.

However, when I remove the GPU, the motherboard boots perfectly fine. I suspect either the GPU is defective or the PSU is unable to supply enough power, can anyone shed some light on this problem and help me identify which is the case, if either?

-Motherboard: ASUS Z87-A Socket LGA 1150 ATX Intel Motherboard
-GPU: ASUS Nvidia GTX 760
-PSU: Corsair 750W TX ATX

Alright, good to know that it should be more than enough. The PSU is a refurbished unit so that may very well be the case. Any troubleshooting suggestions to try out before I return it and take out a new one?

Unfortunately I don't have any other PSUs around so I can't test that immediately. Regardless I'm going to go ahead and swap the PSU out tomorrow under its refurbished warranty and see if the replacement helps anything.

Thanks for your help!

I've just tried some extra troubleshooting. Turns out it is in fact the GPU that was defective. After swapping in a new GPU the motherboard works perfectly fine, the PSU appears to be functioning perfectly fine as well. Perhaps it could have been a bad voltage regulator in the GPU that caused it, but regardless I seem to have gotten it working again.

Thanks again for your help, iceclock.
