Gaming/media PC. Still new to this but I think I have a decent set up now. $900 is my limit, any changes or additions to improve performance?

Memory is a bit expensive, you can get a similar kit for $20 less.
You might be able to save a little bit of money on the HD7870 too, there is an Asus one for $5 less and a Powercolour one for $15 less (though it's got a reference cooler).

For me, it's a little bit CPU heavy for a gaming machine, but in general though, thumbs up.
