Hey folks!

I'm getting the Asus Crosshair V: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX41361

And I'm really stuck on RAM. I am going for 16gb right now, and I'm aiming to get 8gb sticks so I can buy another 2x 8gb later and expand to 32gb.

After reading, I think I've got it narrowed down to the following choices of RAM:

Of course, I am a but of an AMD whore so that's what my eye is leaning towards, it's clouding my logic and judgement!!

Help me Toms fans!!

Get the G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C11D-16GSR . Since you want 8Gb sticks for a 32Gb set up in the future.
Those two offers the fastest MHz. The timings won't be noticeable in real time performance.

Nope, not planning on gaming only - I will be doing a bit if video rendering and eventually, well - lol this will be an entertainment system to rival that's for sure.

I was leaning towards G.Skill as well, but damn if those AMD Gamer sticks don't look sexy as anything
