So I had decided on the Vapor X model from sapphire, but I recently found out that the TOXIC model was supposed to be the main flagship card from Sapphire. (Can someone tell me the difference?)
Which are the cards out there which can provide the best cooling for overclocking? I have a low regard for noise levels.

Hello,
You are correct that the Sapphire Toxic r9 280x is currently the best r9 280x out there. It does not have the greatest OCing potential, but it has very high stock clocks. It runs around 65-70*C when under heavy Load. It is also the most noisiest card out there in the r9 280x series. It also consumes more power than the other cards.
Here's a comparison of Toxic and the Vapor-x you listed...

Hello,

Here's a comparison of Toxic and the Vapor-x you listed:
http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=1897&gid2=1896&compare=radeon-r9-280x-sapphire-toxic-3gb-oc-edition-vs-radeon-r9-280x-sapphire-vapor-x-3gb-oc-edition
As you can see, the toxic is slightly better than the Vapor-X. Vapor-X however, has beter cooling than the Toxic one and has good OC potential and it's more silent.
Now, the best models for Overclocking and which have the most silent and best cooling solutions are these three:

The ASUS card looks nice and it has high stock clocks and it has a bit beter performance than the other two in general. Asus cards are also mentioned to be very durable in terms of OCING. It runs a bit warmer than the two others, but it is certainly one contestant that is too good to be left out.
The HIS and Sapphire version have the best cooling. The HIS version runs a little bit cooler and is more silent. The Sapphire Vapor-X however, has a little bit more power in terms of performance.
Now, you might wonder where the gigabyte version is? The Gigabyte card is good but the cooling runs around the same levels as the toxic cooling, making the gigabyte the weakest contestant in terms of cooling, and noise. It does have decent performance though, and is a bit beter in terms of shaders and other small things than the Vapor-X. It is one of the cheapest r9 280x and it isn't bad by any means but it just can't beat the Sapphire, Asus and HIS versions in my opinion.
All in all, the difference between these cooling solutions might depend ont he case and whatnot and that if the card gets a little bit of extra air from somewhere, but the differences are marginally small.
In the end, it does not matter too much which card you decide to buy. All of them are good cards, and you certainly won't be disappointed by any of them.

Hope this helps^^
