E evilquck Honorable Dec 2, 2013 2 0 10,510 Dec 2, 2013 #1 So I installed a H80i for my 3570k. At idle I'm getting 36-38C. When I run prime 95 I get 66-68C. I am not overclocking yet (its all stock clock/voltage). this seems a bit high but I'm not sure. I have reseated twice now with same results.

Solution RobCrezz Dec 2, 2013 Check the seating of the cpu heatsink block, I would expect a little cooler than that, unless you have high ambient temp.
