So I'm looking at getting a 16GB ram kit and ive narrowed it down to 2 and I just need someone else's opinion.
Here is one:
G.Skill Sniper
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...
the other:
G.Skill Ares
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i...

They both have seem to have the same specs apart from the CAS Latency. The sniper is C9D while the Ares is C10D. Seeing as they are both the same price it seem logical to go for the sniper but I don't know much about either sticks reliability and I also really like the look of the Ares which would suit my build a lot better. So I'm basically asking what's better and by how much, would it be worth going for the sniper?

The Snipers have tighter timings (CL9 vs the CL10) of the Ares, so better performance and the Snipers also have more OC headroom - so stronger sticks

Would this be noticeable? By how much would it affect the performance of my computer?

Depends, in strictly gaming, very little, in multi-tasking and using memory centric apps would show moreso ;)

Alright thankyou for that. Choosing your post as the solution :)

I'm just going to go with the Ares sticks as I don't think I multi task that often and I like the look of them a lot more than the Sniper sticks which is important to me
