Do I need to reinstall Windows if I build a new PC with existing / current HDD?

Hi,

I am planning on building a new PC and have a quick question. The CPU, Motherboard, RAM, GPU will be all new, however, I will be using my HDD from my current system (which obviously has Windows already installed).

My question is that when I connect my (pretty much all) new PC components and use my old HDD, will I need to reinstall Windows again? or will simply connecting everything will be OK (perhaps only the drivers need to be updated/reinstalled)?

Appreciate your help and support.

you don't need to reinstall your windows, all you need to do is connect your hdd to your new components and uninstall old chipset drivers then install your new motherboard chipset drivers
