How to run BF4 better?

Hey everyone, I'd like some advice on how to run BF4 better with my setup. People have been saying they run with similar specs 42-57 FPS, but I get a lot of drops, like one every ten seconds. My setup is as follow:
AMD FX 6300 w/ Turbo on (4.1 ghz)
GTX 680 (OC'd a bit with EVGA Percision X, went to 115% Power Usage, +100 Clock offset, +500mem off set)
8gb of ram running at 1733 (I believe, it's in the 1700s for sure)

I have all the latest updates, as well as the 2 hotfixes for windows 7 that allow it to use my AMD CPU a bit better.

Any suggestions? Help would be greatly appreciated.

On single monitor that GPU is powerful. I think you'll need to be patient as DICE will release updates to fix issues.

I know is much to ask, but try to install on a separate partition Win 8 and the minimum you need to run BF4.

From my own experience i got better results in CS: GO on Win 8 than on Win 7 and that was the last time i ever used Win 7.

I have FX8350 and E-VGA GTX 760 SC and get about solid 60 fps in BF4 (v-sync on, since fps goes sometimes 80-100 and screen tearing is driving me nuts) all Ultra except AA, i don`t find it useful on such fast game and has too much impact on fps.

And there`s something wrong with your system, but might just be something software, by doing a fresh install you`ll eliminate the doubt that you have hardware problems.

He experiences drops .. i have FX8350 8GB Ram GTX 760 .. so you could say we are about in the same performance range and i don`t have any frame drops, he has better GPU but slower CPU but that will balance things out i would say.

Hey just wanted to update this, playing with the patch released for BF4 as of 12/3/2013 and it's so much better. Now I'm playing at a steady 50-60fps on ultra at 100 FoV up from 90. Thanks all for the input
