I hear tons of different requirements everything from 500w to 750w. Will this 650w power supply be enough for all the r9 280x's? Most likey either getting the r9 saphire toxic or vapor. Also maybe the xfx r9 280x

550W should be enough. Though you could have 600 or 650W PSU, if you feel that you might do some minor upgrades, overclocking ,etc.

But in any case 550W should be enough for that card.

Anyways this nice 650W PSU can be had for just $49.99 after discounts. It is a very good quality PSU from Corsair. Also it is 650W. Hence this would be more than enough for any build with 280x.

Hence buy this PSU. Best price/quality right now :

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $49.99
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

I hope this helps.

Way more than enough. Seriously, no problem with it at all. For single GPU 650W is more than enough.

Oh yeah! For 10 bucks more, the Antec HCG 750W is better. It has 750W, so you can go dual GPU in the future.

Also it is semi Modular which means much less cable clutter. So, for 10 bucks more than the one I suggested. The Antec PSU is very good.

Also both PSU's are made by Seasonic, hence both would perform very good.
