Hi Everyone,
I have old Intel D945GCCR Motherboard & Intel Pentium D 2.8GHz Processor . The problem is, my CPU is Overheating, I've searched everywhere in forums and communities, whatever I've found I've already Tried such as:

1) Changing the FAN
2) Removing & Applying the Heat Sink (White)Paste on CPU.
3) Flashing & Upgrading The BIOS.

These things although solved my problem but NOT Completely yet. CPU is now working bit normal & not hampering my work, FAN automatically raises rotating speed with big noise & slows down too, although not restarting automatically, but is still overheating. I've read somewhere, there is a Thermal/Temperature Sensor beneath processor, I've tried searching but I didn't found one. I want to know where is it exactly & What should be the Normal Or Maximum operating temperature of CPU under normal circumstances.
Thanks & Many Greetings

What are your temperatures? How do you know that your CPU is still overheating after following the above 3 solutions? And don't try to look for the temperature sensor, it is built in motherboard PCB, close to the CPU socket. you won't even know you are looking at it.. it is not something that you can identify, it is just a sensor among so many electronic components on motherboard.

Your processors max operating temperature is 60 degree Celsius. Read more here.

Hey, Thanks Lot Buddy for this valuable support, I've managed to fix the problem by myself. The CPU is working FINE to most extent.
The CPU overheating problem is not severe now. ;)
I came to know the cpu persist to heat from BIOS.
There were "CPU Temperature details" which after starting PC continues to raise & cross 80 degrees and plus, which was a concern of worry.
Don't know how did, but the cpu is now working fine and & am able to work normally..!
Thanks lot for your concern.!!!
