Failed powersupply symptoms?

Hey guys I would love to get your input on a problem that I am having. My computer recently quit working and has lost all power. I've checked all connections, changed cables and have tried the on board power switch (z77 extreme4) but still don't have any power. No fans or drives will turn on however the on board Ethernet connection LEDs will turn on with a repeating clicking sound. I haven't gotten to test the PSU yet but I was also thrown off by the LED lighting up. I haven't really moticed any smell either. Any input would be appreciated

I got the machine running after disconnecting it from electricity and pushing the power button a few times. Now it started up like a champ but I went ahead and put in a request for a manufacturer replacement (its only 8 month old). The machine has been running fine since I assembled it in march and this is the first issue that I've had.

Basic Specs:
Rosewill RD600 PSU
i5 - 3470
Z77 Extreme 4 Motherboard
Geforce 460
