Hi, was wondering if the ASUS® H81M-E: Micro-ATX, LG1150, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs motherboard is good for gaming, or if I will have trouble with it. My rig consists of an i5 4670 3.4ghz and a gtx 770; I am not overclocking any of these, however this motherboard is only £40? This is my first gaming pc and I've heard that motherboards are just as important if not more so than the other components, so is this alright for gaming on my rig? (I know it won't allow SLI or crossfire but I don't intend to do that anyway so it's ok)

Oh and one other thing (sorry if this is a stupid question) but my graphics card has a hdmi slot but my motherboard doesn't. Am I still able to connect my pc to my monitor with a hdmi cable?

Yes it is good enough to fill your basic needs, however you wont be able to overclock your processor because your processor and motherboard doesn't support OC.

If your video card doesn't have hdmi slot then u either have to buy vga-->hdmi adapter which you will have to connect into video card, no into motherboard's vga slot because then you will use your processor integrated graphics not gtx 770 or just use vga/dvi cable between video card and monitor.

This motherboard is pretty good for its money.
