Z87 sabertooth mobo USB 3.0 not working properly

I recently had a gaming tower built with an asus z87 sabertooth mobo, i7 4770, 2x8gig corsair 1600mhz dominator ram and an asus nvidia gtx780ti graphics card. The build is perfect except the USB 3.0 ports on the nzxt guardian case don't work, they register there a USB plugged in but I can't access it, I've installed the drivers the came on the mobo disc including the one labeled USB 3.0 drivers and it still doesn't work. Please help

Sorry for not replying, all the cables are plugged into the mobo and all the usb 3.0 option are enabled however a few weeks after asking this question the usb 3 port started working. i have no idea why i couldnt even get them to work using custom usb software.
how ever there working now so no harm done i suppose
