Ok, the thing is that the 2120 is 2 generations of intel old.
So upgrading a CPU on the same motherboard is possible, but not reasonable.

It would benifit you to upgrade both.
Remember if you wait another generation you will no longer be able to find a compatible CPU to your new MoBo.
So it might be best to get a new CPU and MoBo soon, maybe today because of cyber monday. Which is the black friday of tech.
