How to recover deleted files from external hard drive

Does anyone know how to do this? I deleted them yesterday. Recuva did not work. I scanned for 4 hours in a deep scan and a lot of the files were not there or were not operable.

Will a Windows 7 restore point restore what was on this external drive, or does that only work for the hard drive with the OS on it?

I NEED these files... Please, if someone helps me, I'd be so grateful.

Always backup ur Important datas and Application


u cann't full relay on "Recovery Software"

U can request ur Customer service to recovery datas for u....from ur EHDD

try different recovery programs, some of them work differently.
restore point only work, if you have it turn on for the drive.

how did you delete it? make and model of the external drive?

Thanks for the reply. I have a Western Digital Passport 1TB external HD.

I deleted these files by selecting them and pressing the delete key on my keyboard. A promp came up saying, "These items are too big to recycle, please delete them permanently."
