I am trying to set up my linksys e2000 router but i cant figure out how to make it broadcast the wifi - i can however connect

    I can connect using an ethernet cable however my computer picks up other peoples wifi but i cant seem to find my own.

    That's a bit of a concern, the router must be working as you can connect with cable, your w'less adapter must be good if you can see other networks, so why is your Linksys not appearing in available connections?? To my mind this would only be possible if either the wireless component of the Router is defective or some obscure settings withn the Router's Wireless setup have been made
    Try running your Setup disk again to see if that helps. Meanwhile you can access your Router...
    Try connecting to the router with the Ethernet cable and open your browser. Type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar then Enter. You should get a login screen. Username and password are both Admin.
    Perhaps post some screenshots of the Wireless Settings or contact your ISP to check them with you.

    Whenever I try using the cd or through that website I always get an error when it wants to connect to the modem. I will post some screen shots of this as well as from the website.
