Razer Orbweaver keypad?

Solution
I love my Nostromo, did hardcore gaming with it along with my Naga Epic, however, I upgraded to an Orbweaver a month ago because I've been waiting for the additional keys (`-4) and it took a while to get over the price ($119 in Australia, still not worth it but I wanted it since it was announced).

Playing games like FPS seem best on keyboards. But games like MMORPGs I enjoy my Orbweaver a lot. It's not for everyone and it requires getting adjusted to. You either like it or hate it.

Pros:
Highly Customisable keys
Hand rests comfortably(with adjust-ability)
Thumb gets more functionality.
Feel good mechanical keys.
Looks beautiful to the eyes.

Cons:
Less keys to use immediately compared to a keyboard.
May make using a normal keyboard...
professional gamers use whatever they are most comfortable with.

i've used the razer nostromo (what the orbweaver was based on) and it works okay i suppose. the only real flaw is that they do not have an analog joystick. instead it is a 4button dpad underneath a fancy knob. while this works it could be better (analog would give 360 movement options instead of just 8. that would be useful if you set the thumb for movement.

May make using a normal keyboard awkward over time (if you get attached to the orbweaver).
You will have to make extra effort to type with your keyboard if you want to chat and keep using the keypad(take hand off keypad to use keyboard).
Expensive.

Don't think I've seen pros using it since tournaments usually use keyboards and you'd want to be highly experienced in using a keyboard for optimal effectiveness and efficiency in pro matches, but maybe some do use it, won't know till I see it.

Since I have no intention of aiming to be a pro gamer, I use whatever I want to make my gaming experience to my liking.

Hope that helps :)
