Hi community. I builded a gaming system with the following specs:
-Intel Core i5-4570k
-8Gb RAM Corsair DDR3 1600Mhz
-Asus B85M-G
-Sapphire Radeon HD7850
-Old, Odd and boring SATA2 1Tb Hard Disk Drive
-A bunch of coolers

So, my questions are:
- Will adding a SSD raise the performance? I feel it has the same windows performance like my old Athlon II x3
- How to keep it at full speed and without viruses?
- Is there any utility or trick to speed it up?
- Does formatting damage SSD?
- Any good SSD from one of those sites?

www.emag.ro
- Does Asus Instant Os Login supported on my motherboard affect SSD or HDD?
- Should i buy another 8Gb or RAM instead of a SSD?
- Windows 8.1 or 7 for gaming?
- Crossfired HD7850 or better video card? (In the future)

If you're using the same old HD as your old system, of course your windows performance is going to be the same. A SSD is a great improvement over a standard HD if you can afford it. Formatting doesn't damage a SSD as long as you aren't doing it repeatedly, what you're thinking of is defragging a SSD, which is harmful.

You don't need 16GB of ram. really. Get a SSD. 8.1 has shown some FPS improvement over 7, but it comes down to personal preference.

Better GPU. Definitely.

And is there any reason why you paired a (what I actually assume) i5-4670k with a B85 board? You should have paired it with a Z87.

The CPU is great, the i5-4670k is a great processor, but you paired it with a B85 board, which isn't great quality, nor does it allow for overclocking. Your CPU is able to overclock, but if you don't plan on overclocking at the moment, you are fine. But you will need to upgrade in the future if and when you plan on doing so.
