I have a GTX 580 in which has 2 DVI ports, a HDMI and a display port. One of my monitors is plugged into a DVI port, however for my new monitor I have only VGA cables left which my graphics card doesn't support. So i plugged it into the onboard graphics and went into the bios and turned on multi-display. I'm too impatient to wait for a DVI cable to arrive and I want to use it now. Is there any people with knowledge on how to get this to work?

Thanks:)

You need a dvi cable to hook up your monitor to your graphics card.
There is no other way.
Integrated graphics does not work in coordination with graphics card.
Another way is that use the DVI cable that is plugged in to connect to the port with the minus sign and get a dvi-vga adapter to connect that with the port with the plus sign and four dots.
Don't do it the other way around, it won't work.
