Hey,

I'm planning to buy a few very good core components of a new PC, so I can have a decent machine now and then add to it with a few upgrades over the next few months. The aim is to get a motherboard, RAM, SSD, CPU and power supply, then fill in the blanks with parts from my current build. Here's what I've picked out so far:

The first step after putting this together will likely be picking up a graphics card, maybe a GTX 660, but for now the GT 630 I have should suffice.

Any improvements you guys would suggest? Ideally I don't want to pay too much more than £600 for the few parts I'm buying, but I'm not sticking strictly to a budget.

Thanks, and apologies for just dropping in and immediately throwing a question out there, it's been a while since I've done a build.

Ah my bad, I should've given more info. The two most demanding uses will likely be gaming and game development, mainly running things like unreal editor, visual studio and builds at the same time. I had considered going for 16GB RAM and I don't know much about SSD so that one was picked with limited knowledge, I'll swap those two out.
