Getting a Asus Maximus VI Hero with an i5 4670k.

Was wondering which one of these I should get:
Ripjaw
TridentX

The TridentX seems like it has better timings, but it doesn't seem that significant. Any other difference?

Also, some people mentioned that 1.5Ghz is all that Haswell supports, but a lot of other people seem to disagree. The consensus seems that these RAM will all work fine on my mobo/cpu. Is that right?

Thanks!

Best sticks w/ the Hero are the Tridents, have run a large number of sets on my Hero, and the Tridents always come out on top, tight timings and all I've used have had OC headroom, currently have the 32GB 2666/11 set in mine (in sig)
ripjaw i'd say.

even if you get higher freq than what the cpu can take it's fine. you use it at the max of the cpu and then you get better timings on that lower freq and it's still an improvement compared to maxed out freq ram.

point is you can never go wrong by getting the best ram you can find even if your cpu doest support the freq.
