I have recently decided to build my first computer. I am thinking I will mainly use it for gaming. Games such as World of Warcraft, Starcraft II, and Minecraft. On my current computer all of the games are super laggy, I was just wondering if the stuff I am getting would be able to run all of these easily with minimal lag. If you have any suggestions as to getting different parts or something all suggestions are good! =)
List of parts:
Case:http: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Graphics Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Motherboard:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Power Supply:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Optical Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

This is what I am thinking for my computer, if I am missing anything or there are better things I could get then if you can tell me that would be great, also if everything will fit in the case if you could tell me that would also be great! Thanks!!! =)

If this is going to be used primarily for gaming, then an I7 is overkill for what you need. An i5 4670k would be fine for gaming and you could spend the saved money on a better graphics card. If you really want an i7 though, get the 4770k, it's faster and only 10$ more on newegg at the moment.

Also, the 4770k would fit that motherboard. The 3770 is a 1155 socket type, that board is an 1150 (incompatible).
The ram you chose is 2400mhz too, meaning you'd have to manually clock it to 2400 in your bios since it would default to 1333.

On a side note, that power supply is way more than you need. It's rated at 1000w, you'd be fine with anything around 550-600w. spend the saved money on a better graphics card! The GTX 760 is a good buy.

This Build is can play all of the games stated in your post. However your Motherboard is not compatible with you Processor. Your processor uses a 1155 socket as opposed to your motherboards 1150 socket. You will either have to change your motherboard or cpu to be compatible.
A cpu suggestion would be the i7-4770. Its slightly more expensive but is compatible. Or you could go for a haswell i5 as you don't really need an i7 for gaming at your level.

^ Like they said your choice of motherboard and cpu are not compatible. Also, i7 is pointless for gaming. Your overall build is okay but you won't be able to max out your settings on most current games.

Hi,

For the games you want to play, you should be fine.
The weaker link is the video card, but should be fine for medium to high quality on the games mention above.
The power supply is a bit of an overkill unless you plan on overclocking and sli video cards. A good 650 watt would be ok for this build.
About the memory, unless you plan on overclocking you could find 2 X 4 GB 1600 mhz with a lower timing (cl 7-8)
but the kit you have chosen is cheap but won't get any kick from the 2400.

OK… I have looked at all the responses, yours is the most helpful, so for my processor I think I will switch it to i5 now, then get a new video card and power supply, here is what I am thinking for all of these I was just wondering if you could tell me if the stuff I have chosen fits and everything. Also if you have any more suggestions, it will be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you are using the previous parts in your list and replacing certain parts with the parts stated, you should be good to go. Don't forget to include the operating system (presumably windows) and other small features (such as wireless networking card etc) in your costs.

These parts work together perfectly fine. Just to clarify, you cannot overclock that CPU, it has a locked multiplier. Otherwise, good build.
