Help picking a CPU cooler

I am building a computer with asus crosshair v formula-z with an amd fx-9370. I want to stay away from water cooling. I was thinking about the cm hyper 212 evo. Any ideas on a CPU cooler? Don't want to expensive but don't want to have I worry about temputures. Also not planning on oc

Like i said, because the 9370 is such a power hungry cpu (220tdp), you're gonna need something big. This is why they initially only sold this CPU as part of a watercooling combo kit.

Simply put, i would not trust anything less than this cooler for that specific processor (regarding air cooling).
