I just got home from work like ten minutes ago and went on newegg right after to buy a new gpu for my new pc build. I proceeded to make a new account and went on to fill out my shipping address and right after i click "check out" its sold out already?.... So im guessing i can't purchase this gpu anymore and the same gpu on amazon is +$200...

Any good gpu for around $150-180?

why do you need the R9-270X? thats better than the 7870 and the 270 is only 1 fps lower average than 7870. it can be easily overclocked to match that performance.
the gigabyte card should perform better than GHz edition since its core clock is 100MHz higher

I'm not a big fan of power color... and the 270 isn't the x version. After 10 hours of work I come home and see a great deal and its sold out once i fill out my information while proceeding to checkout for the Iceq... =/
Would this GIGABYTE GV-R787OC-2GD Radeon HD 7870 Ultra be on par with the ghz version?

Well i want something that is powerful but around my price range. I was actually considering going for the MSI GTX 760, like the one you have, but i would rather save $100 and wait it out for the next year.

the gigabyte is a good card for o/c mildly?
