Just want to say thank you for you help with a spec, kinda lost.

Approximate Purchase Date: next 4-6 weeks

Budget Range: $500-$650 not including shipping, just the parts

System Usage: gaming- I want to play bf4 on moderate settings and not bog down the fps

Vendors: try newegg, amazon, and ncix USA if possible. I live in Pennsylvania if it matters

The FX-6300 is a decent budget gaming CPU and for your budget it'll do the job. AMD CPUs are getting better and better every year and shouldnt be looked down upon, they are great for budget systems.

As far as the case goes I left that open to you because every person has their own style and design but I could list a couple good cases...

About the CPU- how is it going to hold up? I don't want to get one that's going to be obsolete tomorrow, I would try to extend budget..

Also, what about a case?
