I've googled this and I asked a less direct question and didn't get the answer i needed. So here is the basic question. Would a Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (5.5 x 5.9 x 3.4 inches) fit in my Hp Pavilion p6710f PSU bay (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches)? Like i need a yes or no answer, if no, I would like some help with finding a new PSU that will replace the shitty 250 watt chinese one that comes with it, I am buying a new video card and I need a new PSU, btw here are my specs, idk if it'll help.

SPECS
--------------

Nvidia Gefore GT 430 (soon to be a XFX AMD Radeon HD 7750 if it fits)
    4GB DDR3-1333 RAM (Soon to be 8GB)
Some shitty Chinese 250 Watt PSU
    1TB HDD
    Mid-size ATX
    Height: 38.7 cm (15.23 inches)
    Width: 17.5 cm (6.89 inches)
    Length: 41.4 cm (16.29 inches)

Thanks,

Yes that is an OEM sized PSU . It will fit.

Dimensions: 150mm x 140mm x 86mm (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches)

Both yours and the Corsair are same size , so it will work.

It should fit but really if you can run GT430 then you can run HD7750 on the current one. The card maxes out at 43 watts.

I don't really need the PSU upgrade? I was told I did need it. Oh well, since I went through all this trouble to make sure it works I might as well get it.

Thank you all, I guess I am getting the Corsair after all. I am sure the Card will fit too, I mean why wouldn't it? Looks like all my questions have been answered. Thanks again.

Since you are getting the Corsair why not go step up and at least get HD7770.

I could look into it, I am on a extremely limited budget though. Just as long as the stuff I want works, I am fine, I mean 4GB extra RAM (landing me at 8GB total) and new PSU and a new Graphics Card will help me play the games I want, I was told the HD7750 could play Arma 3. I am getting the XFX AMD Radeon HD 7750, I even saw a youtube demonstration of the game on that Card. Since im buying it from Amazon im not paying full price either.

Make sure your hp has room for a wider card.

I am sure it does, because it fit the GT430 which was a bit wider, only because of the fan, I could double check but im sure that it will fit a much wider card.
