receiving black lines

hi recently purchased a sapphire hd 6570 1gb ddr3. once received, i installed the card. everything ran perfect. until, i tried overclocking... i read online, on multiple websites, that this card will overclock to 800-900mhz on the gpu core and 1150mhz on the memory. i tried 825mhz and 1125mhz but no higher than that. tested multiple times with different clock speeds but all gave me black lines except for stock speeds

would really like to overclock this card without any black lines!!! Please Help!!!!

Sounds like you have a not so good chip...

It's not too uncommon though, luck of the draw. That said, make sure you have the latest drivers, and use MSI Afterburner to overclock. Other software sometimes causes problems...
