computer with good graphic card wont run games

Ever since i restored my computer to its factory settings it hasnt been able to run no games i download games from steam they dont open, i tried playing battlefield play 4 free it wouldnt work my graphics card is Standard VGA Graphics adapter and i tried updating it but it said it was already upgraded

im running on windows 7 home premium and i tried running battlefield play for free, gta 4 and tactical intervention.
and it says i have the Standard VGA graphics adapter (i dont know how to check the model) i didnt always have that i had like a AMD Radeon HD7700 Series but now it says standard vga graphics adaptor

If it says standard VGA graphics adaptor it's because the computer isn't recognizing your VGA. Install the drivers from the AMD site. If you don't know which VGA you have, you either open your computer and check, or you check the papers that came with your computer/VGA. That said, Windows 7 should be able to detect your VGA without much trouble, have you tried running windows update? It usually install everything you need.
