I know this issue had been discussed all over the forum, but I've been having a weird problem lately:
My computer would suddenly turn off (as if someone had unplugged the power cord) and then restart itself after a few seconds. This happened 3 times so far, and the last two times were during battlefield 4 gameplay , about 1 or 2 hours into gameplay. In between the last two occurrences, I used the computer for several hours straight for a school project, and nothing happened at all - so I think it has to do with gameplay. Now you may be thinking temperatures... I did check the CPU and GPU temps during gameplay and they were as follows: around 55-60 for CPU and 50-55 for GPU. Could be the psu's temperatures? I really don't know.
What else can I do besides reformatting my drive and reinstalling windows? I really need help, as I fear this problem may cause damage to my parts
Specs are in signature, but just in case:
CPU - i7-2600k
GPU - gtx 770 sc
PSU - hx750 corsair
Main drive - Intel 520 sad
2nd drive - 750gb WD black

Thank you.

flickering means you pull a lot of power from the breaker on that line what else is connect to the same breaker that feed this outlet where you plug the system ,try to plug the system it in another room on another breaker and see if the light in this room flicker .

First of all, I did a (quick) format on my main drive, and reinstalled Windows. The first time I turned the computer on after that, the problem (the computer resetting) occurred within five minutes of regular (not demanding) use. So now, I can conclude that overheating is not a problem, and that the problem lies in the hardware, and not the software.

I'm assuming the problem is from the PSU itself, because the first time this problem happened, something unusual happened: when I pressed the power button to turn the computer on, the room's light bulb turn flicked once for a split second, and this kept happening from then on every single time
Should I RMA the PSU, or is the problem elsewhere? what do you guys think?
