I've been messing around with my i7 and overclocking it, I've had it at 3.8 ghz for a few years now and just taking it up to 4.0
Anyways I've got a slight issue in the bios and according to cpuiz im at 4.0 ghz but the windows 8.1 performance tab is saying im at 2.76 ghz the temps are around 75 max right now And the 2.7 never changes even when launching a intensive program like bf4.
Intel speedstep is turned off in bios, power settings are set to performance
heres some photos of what I'm dealing with.
